This life we live
We ask what for
Bewildering thoughts
Of what's in store
The past screams loudly
Lost longing and bored
How to proceed 
Find a new door
Open it slow
Look down at the floor
A bandaged soul
Fresh wounds feel sore
Hold my head up
With wings a torn
Fearing the unknown
Yet I still yearn for more
Stepping off the ledge
In flight I'll soar
And in my head 
I'll be lost no more
