Ch.1 Headaches are dangerous

Hey my name is Earl. I know that name is weird but don't blame me. My full name is Earl Jonathan Rodgers I'd prefer to be called Jonathan. Well that's enough about me let's get to the story. Oh yeah and I'm 16. Oh right to the story. 

It started on what I thought would be like another peaceful morning. I started getting some nasty headaches and seeing things weird. It was like I could see all of the water particles in the air. I decided to skip school because of the headaches. I then lied down to take a nap just thinking "I just wanted to see Arania's face today".
I dreamt about hugging Arania she is so beautiful. It's almost like she was some immortal goddess. I heard a loud crash and woke up. I only remember something black flying in front of my face. I jump up with a start. 
Then I head towards the door kinda wondering what that was. I grabbed a broom and walked back to where I was laying. Then I seen something dart into the kitchen. I gulped and walked up slowly broom in hand. I hop out and see a black bird.
 It darted at me and before I completely realize what's going on. I seen something fly from the sink and hit the bird. I only remember that before passing out. When I woke up my headaches we're gone. I looked around a bit and realized that I was in my room. 
I get up and walk to the door. I felt a bit uneasy and decided that I shouldn't go to school. I walk to the bathroom. Then looked at myself in the mirror and realized my eyes were flickering between blue and green. I turned on the faucet to rinse my face.
 I splashed my face with water and looked back into the mirror  except my eyes were a glowing blue. Then I noticed all the water start to float around me. I fell backwards when I seen it. It dissipated after a second or two. Then my eyes reverted back to normal.
