Time...

Much has been said in the topic of time. It fascinates and intrigues us as humans, especially scientists, though it has also worked its way into pop culture as an O.P. superpower. 

What fascinates me on the topic? I don't know exactly, perhaps how little is known about it... yet! "Space... The final frontier" - the opening line of the star trek franchise. Is it though, truly the final frontier? After all, string theory and time seem to both beat it to that, along with relativity, light, energy, speed, infinity, and many more such oddities spread throughout math and science.

The ability to control time... Fact or fiction? It seems several centuries beyond our technology, if it is to come about at all. Which brings up an idea- why can't time travelers just bring the machine back earlier and allow us to invent it sooner- will this tech be open to the public? And if so, will we all be to busy with handling a greater threat? Or could the machines all be banned? How much would it be regulated? Are we ready for it yet? So many questions, so little time... Or answers, for that matter.

Just how linear is time? Many theories exist explaining time, and alternate time lines. Even tv such as Flash brings up the point. Considering this, how dangerous is it to wield this power? I'd say incredibly so, one man could rewrite history, or make it so some things never existed.

Another thought on time machines: if someone went into stasis until time machines existed, then traveled back in time to when they went into stasis, then allowed people to reverse engineer a duplicate, and went back into the future, just after they left, then for one, would it be possible, and for another, who will have invented the time machine? This is a paradox, and a form of a self-fulfilling prophecy, much like a perpetual motion machine.

So much to be said on time... But I promised this would be a quick tidbit, so I leave you to ponder for now...
