My story is that I was ten years old and had a really cool dream about owning a dragon, so I wrote a story about it. And then I just kept writing for eight years, and here I am!
How'd you get here? By the way, I put this post inside the "adventure" sub-category because every literary endeavor is an adventure.

i have always had a huge imagination and i've always wanted to write some of it down some where. unfortunately for most of my life i just wasn't very good at articulating what i want to say onto paper. then one day i decided that even though i didn't think i was any good i might as well try the worst i could do is fail. so here i am today.

I suffer from anxiety and have recovered from a relatively severe depression. My story is not unique, but i shared it on my website in honour of bell lets talk day. I believe that my story gives others hope and have seen evidence of this. I write for many reasons. I love it, i have stories and ideas i want to share with the world. i think that the world needs more excuses to read, if i never make money as a writer i am ok with that, but I do want to see my stuff read. i also value the platform as a way of carrying messages. dreamers is a way to share the power of love, in all its form. it helps me show my readers that the service of others is the highest of callings. it affords. me the opportunity to broach body issues and show that anyone could be special if you put your best foot forward. other stories have allowed me to touch topics like corruption of government and the burden of first responders, even destitute poverty in first world countries. Writing is an outlet where i share my love for every human being and try to change the world a little bit for the better so that my children can have a bright future.

I haven't been writing for a REALLY long time like most, but I love it. I have been writing since 5th grade. Sometimes I have a daydream of a dystopia in either a fantasy kind of way or a wretched way. But most of the time I pull a Stephanie Meyer, and get ideas from some of my dreams and just have to write them down.
