I can’t help but wonder how things would have been if you were still here to hold my hand. Would I still be afraid, or would I take on the day. Since god called you by your name I sit and wonder how my life would have been if you were to have stayed. I can’t help but wonder if you would be proud of the mom I have become, I think of you as I sit and watch the rising of the sun, I know you’re looking down upon me with your beautiful grace, I just wish you were here to wipe these tears from my face. I need you now more than ever, but god seemed to have needed you more that’s why he gave you wings and you flew up to heavens doors. I will forever carry you in my heart, grandma till the day I can hold you in my arms once again, the day you left was the day I lost my best friend, but as of now this is not a goodbye because I know I will see you once again.
