It took five straight days away from that light, and any kind of water, for me to return to sanity. I was then transferred to another cell. There I decided the button must be a self destruct for the building, the machine was the core. The reason to team entered earlier was to attempt to seal a leak. Evidently they did a bad job, as I was exposed to some of its gas. The gas is highly toxic, and causes insanity by amplifying the already present paranoia and worry within the organism. I only got a small dose, luckily, and I can't believe what would happen to someone who got more than that. Luckily that was all over, and I could go back to my semi- normal life in prison, totally unaware of what would happen in the day following.
