Love and lust, 2 terms quite similar but very different. Love is feeling deep affection for someone, lust is feeling a sexual attraction towards someone. These terms are mixed up daily and they blur the lines of one another constantly. People take lust for love. Other mistake love for only lust. You see I love being in your arms, kissing you in the morning as the sun rises And at night when the moon gives us light, griping your body as we share the sheets of my bed. I love all these things... but that doesn’t mean I love you. I lust for the attention, the sexual attraction, the love you give me. I don’t lust for you though. I miss holding you, but not you. I miss the late night calls and late nights in bed, but I’d miss that with any girl. I lust for your love, and you love my lust. But our love has been broken and turned to dust. We’re forever stuck in the cycle of love and lust.
