• Prologue •

She's sexy, hot,elegant and sophisticated behind her beauty there's a Merciless, cold hearted queen, and a killer machine.

She's the ruler so don't you DARE to be the breaker. She can do and have everything in just one snap of her finger. Because she's LAW FRIER.

• Chapter 1 •

Goosebumps arose on their rigid necks when they sense the strong presence of someone.

A Lady named Law, makes her way in a big meeting hall with her 4 cousins-- Harvey, Caden, Deniel and Warren and also with her butler -- Rain.

They walked with all their confidence and standing tall. Everyone couldn't keep their eyes off of them especially to 'her'.

She doesn't reflects any emotion. And the scary and strong presence they felt is coming from her.

Once they enter in the meeting hall, everyone in the hall immediately stand and lowered their head as a sign of respect, and you can see the terror in their eyes.

"L-lady Law, we didn't expect your visit with other Friers." One of the businessman said, but she just ignore him and made her way to the throne that is on the stage infront of a long table of businessmen. She sat as Rain pulled a chair for her and her cousins sat beside the throne.

"Start again the meeting from the very beginning" Caden coldly ordered and they did what they was told.
All the Friers listened seriously in the meeting while Law is impatiently tapping the table with her fingers, sign that she didn't like what she was hearing.

" The Montenegro's Commercial land on the Philippines is the best spot to build our new branch" Mr. Walter spoke 

"But we've been discussing to them their profits for almost a month, but until now they haven't sent a reply" Mr. Tsong-go commented.

"Because the Mondragon was also after their land" Mr. Marasigan stated, that made everyone's mouth hang open and caused some violent reaction.

"What?!?"

"Why didn't you tell us sooner?!"

"All this time you knew tha--"

One of the complainant didn't have the time to continue his sentence when they heared a loud slam on the table.

They looked at the direction where they heared it and saw Harvey's knuckles are turning to white because of his tight grip.

"Shut.the.f*ck.up" Harvey said, emphasizing each word slowly.
For them Harvey is scary, but the person in the throne is the scariest. They looked at her direction, and found that she's still tapping her fingers in the table but she's releasing more scary aura.

They squirmed and writhed in their chairs and drift their eyes away from her when her cold eyes roamed to them.

"O-our Apologies Sir Harvey" They said in unison.

"Continue the meeting and we expect that no one is going to shout this time, or else...you know what I mean" Harvey said coldly and give them a deathly glare. His threat caused them to go silent as they tried to continue the meeting.

Everyone gulped and nodded as a reply.

Mr. Marasigan bravely spoke first. " As I was saying, Mondragon is also after their land and the Montenegro can't decide that easily because they are pressed between two powerful and influencial Family."

All of them nodded in agreement
"Then we should wait their reply" as those words came out one of the businessman's mouth. Law's eyes snap to the person and stop tapping the table.

The guy gulped on the sight., As he begin to feel cold.

"No" Everyone froze in their places when they heared that cold and authoritative voice of her.

She stood from her seat and looked at everyone's eyes. 

"All of you are businessman-- man who is good at dealing with business and financial matters, you should all know that Time is Money. "

"They're wasting my time and also my money" She says it slowly while walking down the stairs and walked around them. 

" And all of you are also part of a committee chosen by my father to give advices in a matter, that's why all of you are here, yet no one had proved me that all of you are deserved to be called businessman or a committee." she said calmly but deadly

" From what Family are you?" she asked as she stop behind the man who said those 'bad words'

"C-Custo-custodio, M-my La-lady" The hair on the back of his neck stood up straight and the skin on his arms prickled with goose flesh when Law leaned to him, her mouth is inches away from his ear. And then whispered:

" You should watch what you're saying, especially in my presence. " His body shakes with fear, and nodded.

Law straighten her spine and take a look at everyone, that immediately looked away to avoid eye contact.

" We are no longer going to ask for the land.." She paused and make her way up, back to her throne.

" Because, we are going to take without negotiating " Their eyes widen in shock, and started to feel sweat even if the Aircon is ON.

" Shocking? Nah, You should all know what FRIER is capable of, and expect the unexpected. " Warren proudly said as he smirked amusingly and stood up, putting his hands on his coat's pocket.

" And also, Waiting is Not in our vocabulary. We do not beg. We do not follow anyone's rule or Law, Because We have our own LAW" This time Deniel spoke, emphasizing each words and looked at Law and saw that her eyes were filled with cold as she stared down at them.

No one was brave enough to disagree, not because it isn't true, but because they know the repercussions are, to dare to defy a LAW FRIER.

• Chapter 2 •

They could tell everyone was just holding back their tongues to speak at all costs. Disagree and you'll die.

But Law noticed someone clenching his fists tightly but his face stay calm and his gaze is on the table infront of him.

She tilted her head to the side to have more access to see his clenched fist and stared at 'him' coldly.

'Who is he again?' She asked to herself. Not really into remembering names.

Law signaled Rain to come closer to her and he did. She whispered something to him and nodded before leaving the meeting hall without no one noticing him.

Harvey suddenly looked at her and saw she's staring to someone. 

He followed her stare, and found out that she's staring at Thomson Marasigan. 

He made a confuse look then looked back at her, still no void of emotion.

Harvey didn't saw Thomson's clenched fist as Thomson loosened his clenched immediately, when he felt her gaze. His gaze is still on the table, not wanting to meet her eyes. And Law noticed it too.

Harvey knew that Law is mad. Although someone who didnt know her well, might never have realized. She remained so quiet.

Harvey is about to ask Law, when Caden spoke.

"It's settled then, you can all go now" Caden said dismissing them after a minute of silence.

Everyone sighed in relief as they can all leave now. They bow as a sign of respect and about to leave but Law suddenly spoke, freezing them to their places.

"Speak" Law demanded, looking directly at Thomson.

He let out a mockingly laughed. Everyone gasped and looked at him in horror.

"You called yourself a businesswoman?" He paused and laughed sarcastically.

" oohh~ you just commited a crime " Warren said amusingly.

" Why so amused? " Felix asked and grinned.

Warren just gave him a disgusted look not liking the grin on his face, and made Thomson to clenched his jaw in annoyance and looked back at Law still doesn't reflects any emotion that made him to be a pathetic mad man.

"You are the one who says that; businessman is a man who is GOOD at dealing with business and yet you're just going to take the land without negotiating! What kind of businessman are you?!?" He yelled furiously.

Silence. Everyone began to shake in fear.

"Is that the real reason why you are here? to just talked about Good deeds? or You are here because someone ordered you? " Rain asked coldly. Still no one notice his arrival.

Thomson was taken aback by his question that made him shut his mouth,

He chose to ignore Rain's question and yelled again to Law.

"YOU ARE NO A BUSINESSWOMAN! YOU ARE NO A LEADER! YOU'RE JUST A PIECE OF--- acckkk-" In just a snap Law have a tight grip on his neck, struggling him. 

"Accck--!" He began to clutch at her hand trying to get to release him, but she won't budge. 

Her body began to shake with deep tremors of fury, ready to kill the man who disrespect her, in her own territory.

" I.had.enough.of.you. If you think you're Brave. Im telling you, you're just being foolish. You shouldn't follow some f*cking orders from your f*cking master without any f*cking idea about your f*cking job" she said through gritted teeth as she glared at him with dangerous glints sparked in her sinister eyes.

Thomson's face slowly turning purple sign that he's about to lose oxygen. But before letting him go, Law slammed his face three times hard on the wall causing him crumpling in the floor.

Everyone let out a loud gasped seeing blood dripping down on Thomson's forehead and nose.

He wheezed out in agony as he tainted the carpeted floor with his blood.

Law lift his chin harshly " that's nothing compared to what i really wanted to do with you now " Thomson looked at her pleadingly but it's too late, Her Anger eat her completely.

"This isn't a Normal Business. This is a Mafia Business in case you dont know" Thomson's eyes widened in horror and tried to back away from her but the Man is too weak to move even a single step.

Law let go of him, and Rain immediately grabbed him and pulled him on his feet, before pulling him out of the room.

She straightened her spine and shot everyone a warning glare.

" My people questioning my position is definitely an act of disrespect. You should all know how to respect the person who is above you. And I am above to all of you, " she said coldly. 

She turned her back at them, and spoke: " Make sure that this kind of incident won't happen ever again. Defy and prepare to Die" 

And She leave, slamming the door hard.

• Chapter 3 •

" My people questioning my position is definitely an act of disrespect. You should all know how to respect the person who is above you. And I am above to all of you, " she said coldly. 

She turned her back at them, and spoke: " Make sure that this kind of incident won't happen ever again. Defy and prepare to Die" 

And She leave, slamming the door hard.

Chapter 3!

As Law leave in the meeting hall,  she immediately made her way to her office and used her private elevator that only leads to the floor of her office. 


* Ting! *


As the elevator door opens. Darkness welcomed her, but as soon as she step out at the elevator,  the lights started to turn ON one by one in every step she make. 



The sound of her heels clicking against the cold marble floor echoed throughout the empty hallway. 



That's when she notice her shaking hands. She clenched her fist, hoping to stop it from shaking, but it's no use. She silently curse. 



"I should have just killed him" she whispered to herself. 



She stop in front of her office door, opened it and went inside, then closed it hard behind her. 



It was dimmed in the room but everything could be seen clearly, because of the moonlight that passed through the glass wall. 



A slightly cool breeze broke through the veranda, blowing the curtains smoothly and blow also her hair in a soothing way. She felt her muscles somehow relaxed. 



She sat on her swivel chair, turned it around to face the amazing view of the City of London. 



She leaned back against the cushion of her swivel chair, feeling it's softness and closed her eyes and enjoy the comforting silence.



She coudn't figure out when exactly is her last proper sleep, because of so many paper works she have done and business meetings she attended in different country.



And also...



Because of the memories that hunts her to this day, every time darkness eats her.



" You're not born to be happy and loved!  Because your born to kill and do your responsibility as a Frier. That is just your purpose in this messy world!  to suffer and die! You got that? You will never experience a happy life! Because the blood that runs to your veins is a blood of a demon! "



She furrowed her brows, not wanting to remember the past.



She heard a light knock on the door before it opens. She keep her eyes close.



"Lady Law" she didn't  mind to looked at the person, as she knew who's the owner of that voice.



She hummed in reply, too tired to speak.


Rain walked closer and bow as a respect even though Law didn't see it, it became a habit to him.


" Your Father wants to inform you that he is coming with a guess in a few minutes to speak with you "


Law's right eyebrow rose, 


'What's so very important that he is the one who will come to speak with me? Usually he'd beckoned me. This must be a really serious matter.' 

'He is not an ordinary man, he didn't pay attention on something that is not worthy of his attention and action. And this is the very first time he would come to my office.'


Law disregarded the thought because she knows that after a few minutes, her questions will be answered as they arrived.


"Wine" One word but Rain knows what he will do.


He walked in the near table, where the wine and a glass is placed.


He poured a wine in the glass, and gave it to Law.


Rain stayed beside Law, reminiscing also the beautiful view.


She opened her eyes and take a sip to her glass of wine.


Comforting silence filled the room.


"Rain, how long have we been together?" She asked out of the blue causing Rain to look at her and he saw an emotion flashes through her eyes, so quick that he missed it.


He divert his gaze outside the glass wall and answered:


"We've been together since we were both 6 years old" He said and smile.


Rain looked at her again as she didn't speak. And he noticed that something is bothering her.


He divert his gaze again in the amazing view infront of them.


"I knew, something is bothering you. I want to help you, really.  But if it is about the past, then all I could say is just ---- I'm sorry. I know that I am restricted to say that word as I am the butler of the most feared person in the world, but it is you that we are talking about, I will gladly to say it endlessly. Because this is the reality. We can't change our past nor  forgotten but we can accept it and move on." He paused.



"Accepting and moving on, on something that hurts us like hell is not that easy, especially if it's the reason what you are and who you are today. It surely takes some of your time but its worthy." 



She looked on Rain's direction.


'I can't' her mouth felt numb, unable to say it out loud.


"I was just going to ask you If you're happy in those years that you're with me until now ---" she paused as she stood up and get another glass of wine and gave it to Rain.


Rain looked at her in shock but, yeah he gladly accept it. Not that it is the first time that Law give him a drink or anything. It's just that he didn't expect it in this kind of time, especially when he noticed her shaking hands. He knew that it is because of her fury and being unsatisfied for what she have done.



"And if you didn't regret your decision to stay." Law said as she looked directly in his eyes.


"Why wouldn't I be happy? if you are the one who lifts me up to see the light, to continue my life in a very young age." Rain said as he smiled genuinely.



This is the very first time she sees Rain smiling genuinely.



"Stop smiling like an idiot" she said as she sat in her swivel chair.



And the room filled with comforting silence again.



Then suddenly, her office door opens.



Rain immediately looked at his back and saw a man standing tall whom very familiar to him and a stranger behind him.



"Good Evening Mr. Laxus" Rain greeted and bow, but the said man just nod at him.



"Where's Law?" Mr. Laxus asked.



But Rain don't have to answer it, as Law turned around her swivel chair to face them and then snapped her fingers, and the lights Turned ON. 



Revealing a handsome man in his early 50's, with cold gray eyes and intimidating aura. 



Law didn't saw the stranger behind him as she was sitting.



"What do you need father?" She asked boredly 



"This Young Mondragon have something to discuss with you" Her Father said, and step aside revealing a smiling handsome Young man.
