     She watched the intruder from the shadows of the cave. She knew that she should have been going to the palace to report to the guards, but she had never seen a man from the outside world. She got a bit closer and asked, "Who are you, and why do you come here?"
     He turned, starled, and then stared at the girl holding a sword to his throat. He answered, eying the blade, "I'm Daniel Jennings, " he thought about his words very carefully, "I crashed in that boat over there. Am I dead? Because I have never seen such a beautiful place, or lady. Am I in heaven?"
     "You are not dead, intruder. Yet. It depends on how you answer to the king, " she said, not breaking her gaze and, to him, looking even more magnificent. She took him by the arm, and they began the two-day walk to the palace.
