I’ll be strong by myself 
Because when I needed 
Someone they usually 
Weren’t there. 

I’ll be strong by myself 
Because only I can 
Help myself go through this 

I learned the hard way 
That the only person 
You’re going to need 
Is yourself 

No one is around when 
You’re weak 
Sometimes they even criticize
You for not being strong 
So I’ll just be strong by myself
