   Chapter 1 
 
   I was an ordinary middle school girl, I was seventeen and I thought nothing interesting would never happen to me but I was wrong. Before I get into my romantic yet exciting story let me introduce myself. My name is Chei Suzuki I had a traumatizing childhood but I try not to sulk over it. Because of what happened I live alone with the scars, don't worry this story isn't depressing its some what romantic and happy mixed together. I have one friend since everyone else hates me her name is Nami scarlet she's more like a sister the a friend she was always there for me even when I was at the bad time in my life. Anyways let the my story begin! 




   I head over to Nami's  I'm hyped because we're going to a shrine in the forest "oh how I love this stuff" I whisper underneath my breath. When I arrive to Nami's her mom answerd the door with a sorry type look on her face  she looked up at me and mumbled "I'm sorry dear my daughter seems to be ill she can't go to the shrine with you, but she promises to make it up to you"  I understood said farewell and set of for I was going to go to the shrine alone,but I had yet to know the horrors that awaited me. I found the forest no problem but the shrine was a different story no matter how hard I looked I just couldn't find the damm thing. My feet hurt, I'm hungry, and I'm exhausted. I decided to lean on a tree as I was sitting something grasped my eye "the shrine!" I  dropped all my bags and got up and ran towards it but about ten feet away I got a really bad headache and collapsed. When I awoke the shrine was gone and the forest looked so different I was dumbfounded well I was wondering around I heard footsteps behind me.... They were getting closer....  The breathing behind me got louder...  Then a small bag just large enough to fit over my head was roughly thrown over my head, I struggled but it was futile after a few minutes I past out, but those minutes felt like an eternity. When I awoke my hands were tightly bound behind my back and a cloth tightly tide around my mouth making it hard to breathe . I was surrounded by three men one looked like he was it his twenties another in his thirties and another in there late twenties, the one in the middle finally spoke "hey there Little lady sorry for the rough treatment but we didn't want you to get away, your just so pretty with your red hair and green eyes, anyway if we introduced ourselves will you introduce yourself?" after he said that he took the cloth off my mouth so could speak but I shook my head no" like hell I'd ever tell you my name you kidnapped me for God sake, who in the right mind would ever tell you anything about them. " he started at me for a moment the laughed " heh  good one but you see we could sell you some good money and we would like to know your name before you go and you're probably going to have to tell people who buy you your name s-" before  he could finish he was interrupted  by a loud bang outside there was the sound of a man screaming and something dropping then footsteps came to the door, the door opened who was standing there you ask? Probably the most handsome man I've ever seen. he looked in my direction he frowned for a moment,  he looked at the man that was in front of me and said" you really don't know how to treat a woman do you I mean she's more like a girl because she looks my about my age and I'm not a man but still respect her  I mean she's a beauty I'd be a sham if those wrists of hers scared I mean I can smell the blood from here,  " I was shocked that he could actually smell the blood, when I was moving my wrists around trying to break free from the ropes I ripped my skin a little.  Then he chuckled "  The guards  you had in the front are pretty unless, I mean seriously it took me less then a minute to beat all four of them to a pulp" he then gave a mischievous smile and came towards the two men that were behind the man that was in front of me he bent down and they shot back a little in fear but before they could get far the man that came bargaining in grabbed them then slammed there heads together they fell back with there consciousness gone, then the mystery man came closer with a death like look in his eyes he took the man that was in front of me and dug his nails deep into his throat. I was sitting there in horror the man then looked at me and asked "what's wrong you alright,you look a bit pale?" the man gave me a look of pure confusion, like nothing just happened. When he saw me look at the limp body's 
Something snapped like he just realized what he has done. "oh yeah that... I'm really sorry I didn't think you'd be this affected. Here let me see your wrists" when he reached for me I flinched but his touch never came when I looked back he was starting back at me with a almost sad look, I look down for a moment  and mumbled "I'm sorry I'm being selfish you saved me and I act like this...  I'm so sorry" he looked at me and said something that barely grazed my ear I'm pretty sure he said sorry but I didn't have time to ask him because he hit my neck where a presser point was and I past out. I woke up in the comfort of a futon as I get up the man from before comes into view, I could feel the blood drain from my face "ah you've woken...   this might be a little late and you might not trust me duty may I ask your name? Mines Kenshin Chezame"  I thought for a moment "he doesn't seem like a bad guy he seems trust worthy enough I mean he hasn't really done anything bad to me"  so I finally said " my name is Chei Suzuki thanks for saving me back there." it was almost as if was fate for us to meet today, like the meeting today was always ment to happen. 
















That's all I'm writing for now I hope you enjoy it if you read all the way to the end and for the few people who have enjoyed it thanks for reading and there will be more but I don't think a lot of people will like this 😂 but if you do thanks and there will be more!  And in all fairness this is my first book ever.
