 The Me on the outside is happy and never serious,

But the Me on the inside he is upset and mad.

The Me you see on the outside is constantly joking and laughing with others,

But the Me on the inside tries to start a conversation so he doesn’t feel left out.

The Me on the outside looks confident and proud to be who he is,

The Me on the inside is sick of himself and never sure of exactly what he is doing in the moment

The Me on the outside tries to be like his dad,

But the Me on the inside feels like it can never be accomplished

The Me on the outside is bored, tired and lazy,

But the Me on the inside knows it was a stupid decision to stay up so late, and ignore his parents’ advice

I am very rattled, the whole Me

For once the inside and outside agree

They are both confused about how they are supposed to get along together.

The Me on the outside tries to be good,

But the Me on the inside is a little black plague that seeps through the cracks in the walls.

The Me you see on the outside is always full of hope for things that have almost no chance of becoming real,

But the Me on the inside has no hope because he knows hope brings nothing

The Me on the outside is nice and helpful most of the time,

But the Me on the inside is a jerk and constantly full of rage.

The Me on the outside is nice to his friends and family,

But the Me on the inside never shows he takes his rage out on the people who love him instead of the people who hurt him.

The Me you never see wishes he could be a better friend, a better brother, and a better son.
