She was hidden, in the shadows. Ears flattened to head, Eyes, unseeing in human form, wary. The humans were here, yet again. They always come back this time of year. To the abandoned city, now part of the forest. It belonged to nature, now. So why did they still come back? Was it that they were ignorant to the obvious signs? The trees growing in the cracked, crumbly roads, the leaves blown into shattered windows? Ivy grew on every wall and wolves hid their pups in living rooms. Every night, when the moon glowed, they had howled, their warning that the city now belonged to the wild, untamed, oh so powerful Wolf's magic. Yet these humans came anyways. Ignorance, no. They saw it, but they came anyways. So why? Long ago, there was people from another place in the sky, that were called Earthlings. They brought these new technologys, that made everyone so happy. But with these, the sicknesses made people prejudiced. They blamed it on the animals, and the magic beings, who transformed between human and wolf. Soon, her kind were all being hunted down. Almost extinct, they ran away, to the safe parts of her planet, where woodlands and magic, not humans and their technology and fumes that made them sick. The tech was the problem, but the humans refused to believe it, blaming it instead on the wolves. She, not paying attention, suddenly put her hand on the ground, and all the sudden, she was caged. How? She awoke. A room, a sharp, yucky smell that stung her nose and numbed her fingers was in the air, machines made so much noise she covered her ears, and the light hurt her eyes, even without being able to see it. It had been so many days she had been stuck in this cage. When would she come out? The moon was full. She felt it. By now, the city had been retaken by humans, and her friends trapped with her. They all stayed silent, too afraid of being punished to make sound or move. Her ears, so sensitive because she needed them more to make up for her eyesight, hurt so much. Her sensitive nose was completly numb from the smell, and she hurt, all over from not moving in so long. When would she escape? Is she stuck here forever? Her friends are taken away and she is alone. Silence. Quiet. Everything has gone quiet. It's nice. Her ears work again. Then her nose. ... So sleepy. Sleep? Wait, she is asleep. Right? Is she dreaming? ... ... ... So much better. ... Then she is taken away too. To where?
