You don’t see a girl trying 
You don’t see a girl dying 
You don’t see a girl in pain. 

You don’t see who she is 
You ignore her feelings 
Before you get to know her and
You don’t let her in your heart. 

You don’t see how much she’s been 
Through
You clearly don’t see the amazing 
Person she is 
You don’t see how much she wants 
To trust someone to tell someone 
But she can’t because all they see 
Is NOTHING.

They don’t see the person she is 
They only see what they want to see 
But not what’s truly there.
