I woke up from the light of the sun appearing on my face. I was confused. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at the clock. 7:12am. My eyes went wide with surprise. I overslept. I jumped off my bed and got dressed as fast I possibly could. I ran downstairs, almost falling, and I was in the living room with my siblings watching TV and my Dad drinking coffee. "What are you guys doing?" I asked, my mind racing, "We need to leave!" My dad looked at me, confused. "What are you talking about, Eclipse?" He said, "It's a Saturday." My mind immediately stopped racing. My legs felt tired after all the running. "W...what?" I asked in disbelief. One of my sisters, Crystal, looked at me. "Why are you so stressed all the time, sis?" Crystal was the second oldest. She had the lightest blue eyes in history. She was the least hyper but she was the biggest drama queen. She would find any possibility to cry over a doll dropping to the floor. I stood there, stunned. My brother, Aidan, looked at me with his fire-colored eyes. "I hate it when you're like this." Aidan was one of the kids who are the MOST annoying. He would be the brother who would try to get all up in your business and try to steal your stuff. He was really hyper and would sometimes run around the house, chasing my sisters just to scare them. He would rarely help his siblings and even if he did, he would ask for something in return and if we said no, he would do something bad and blame it on us. He was one of the siblings who I thought was the actual devil. That's probably why his eyes are fire-colored. I wasn't ever intimidated by him but my sisters were intimidated by him all the time. I looked at him. "What do you mean?" I asked. "When you always work so hard and you never take a break. You act like a parent! Always telling us what to do, always wanting us to be on task, and always being the boss of us! I hate it! Why can't you just be a normal kid for on-" but before Aidan could finish his sentence, Dad interrupted him but saying, "That's enough, Aidan! Stop saying that to your sister!" I lowered my head and just walked to my room, grabbed my coat and favorite book and walked back downstairs and back to the door. "I'm going to take a walk." I said and walked outside and closed the door before Dad or my siblings could say anything. 

The breeze was cold and the clouds were grey. I started to read my book while I was walking. I wasn't really aware of the objects in front of me while I was walking because I have practiced how to walk and read without me hitting my face on anything. Anyway, I was walking and all of the sudden, some person runs into me. I fall backwards and my book falls on the ground. "Ow!" I said, rubbing my forehead. "S-sorry!" A male voice said and I looked up at the person. He had a burise on his forehead after we bumped into each other and he put out his hand, wanting to help me up. I got up by myself and picked up my book. "Why were you running?" I asked, "and we're you even looking where you're going?" The boy chuckled, awkwardly. I rolled my eyes. I wasn't normally this rude but I wasn't in the mood to talk with anyone. "Again, sorry." The boy said, "My name is River." My eyes went wide. River? "Unique name." I said, "Mine's Eclipse." River smiled. "Makes sense! You're eyes match your name perfectly! They're beautiful!" I rolled my eyes and started to walk away. "W-what did I do? Wait up!" River said and catched up to me. I turned around and looked at him, annoyed. "What do you want?" I said in a stern and annoyed tone. River gave me a piece of paper and I was confused. "I actually go to your school. Meet me at the back of the school at recess on Monday." Then he walked away. My jaw dropped. "You wasted my time just to give me a piece of paper?!" I wanted to say but kept my mouth shut. I sighed and put the paper in my book and walked away. I just needed time to think. No distractions.
