When I gaze into the mirror 
He gazes back into my eyes
Tears of darkness stream down his cheeks
His eternal shadowy cries...

I place my hand upon the mirror 
He places his upon mine
Together we interlock our fingers 
As he pulls me through to the other side...

I look over my shoulder through the mirror 
To see what I had left behind 
Together we walk off into darkness
This monstrosity and I...

With my absence so cracks the mirror 
And with its ruin it brings closure
The pain, the sorrow, the depression 
Finally it is all over...
