"Darn it! The machine is jammed again!" Robert said slamming his fist against the glass on the front of the vending machine, "Is it too much to ask for a bag of Doritos?""Apparently, yes it is." Said Detective Drake Spade.The detective was the same man who had earlier jumped onto the stage that The Magician had dissapeared from. Soon after he had made the declaration that The Magician had been kidnapped he called the station and then told everyone to stay put. The police had been interviewing people one by one and then sending them home. It had become very late so the handful of people left rode over to the police station so that they had a better place to talk to them in, and hopefully a place where questioning the witnesses would be quicker and more efficient.Robert and Susan were the last two people who left to be interviewed. He motioned Susan to come with him. Another detective who appeared to be his partner motioned for Robert to come with her.                              ...Long into the night after the kids had left Detective Spade sat in thought. Something seemed odd about those kids. Then again something had seemed odd about The Magician too. Heck, this whole incident is odd. First of all there was no traces of any residue from the flash-bang, yes that is what it is called because of well the bright flash and the loud bang, anyway there should've been some sort of traces from it, but there wasn't anything where there should have been. Also the only fingerprints backstage were of The Magician himself and all the rest of the stage crew and all of them were found and accounted for except The Magician of course. So how could he have been kidnapped without the kidnapper leaving fingerprints.Speaking of, the crew had been blided too when when they should've only been deafened, after all they were backstage, yet none of them could see; so what's going on with that? Of course there were plenty of other weird things but those were the ones that stood out the most. This is woeking out to be an interesting case.
