"Dare," I said. Me and my friends were playing Truth or Dare. Harrel Mitchens, the one who loves Truth or Dare, skipped a grade and likes to hang out with us. "Um," Harrel thought. "I know, spend a night at the haunted house of Horse Edge."

The haunted house of Horse Edge is one of the most frightening houses. "Ugh! Fine," I say. "But you need to come with me. That craphole of a house freaks me out." Mike Farmer, scaredy-cat, said, "I'll go to overcome my stupid fear!" Mike sounded brave and not frightened when we agree to go to something creepy. Hoot Collins and Jeff Kornelius couldn't. "Okay," I said. "So, Harrel, Mike and I. But we need a plan!"
