Tobias woke up as the wind was picking up. He looked over his shoulder to see Bevreli still asleep and his shoulder was sore from his wound. He felt cold as the wind carried the rain in the shelter. He looked outside to see loose branches flying in the wind as they hit the shelter with a thud.”What’s going on?” Bevreli asked dazed.

“I don’t know,” Tobias answered. He went outside and looked towards the sky to see a swarm of clouds rotating at a point, then Bevreli walked out and stood in horror.

“We need to run, now!” she tried to yell over the howling winds but Tobias could barely hear her. She grabbed him and bolted away from it. Tobias did the same and yelled “what's happening!”

   “Its a hurricane!”

Tobias then could hear water rushing all around him, twigs snapping, and trees beginning to uproot. The water was getting closer and Tobias’s aching body couldn’t run much longer and he collapsed into the mud, vomiting. Bevreli rushed towards Tobias, picking him up and carrying him.

“I’m not letting you die, not now!” She said as the water swept them away, knocking Tobias out of her grasp.

Tobias could barely swim and he felt the ice cold water carry him away. The water filled his ears and his mouth. He could barely breath and he was gasping for every breath and instead of air, water filled his lungs and he started to feel numb. It felt warm and peaceful and he wanted it to just take him, to just put an end to his misery. Then he felt a hand pull him up onto land and he started to cough up water. From his hazy vision, he could see Bevreli kneeling beside him.

“It’s going to be ok,” she said.

Tobias started to shiver from the cold air and he wanted to jump back into the water to feel warm again, but his body wouldn’t let him. He just laid there and listen to Bevreli talk to him. He looked to the heavens and smiled. “I’m coming mother and father, I’m coming to see you again.” As he said this, his vision darkened and he slowly put his head down to rest.
