The horizon was streaked with bands of crimson, and lavender. A few thin clouds stretch across the horizon. The celestial orb of the sun is making her way towards new lands. A thin golden shaft of the last rays of sunlight hits a decaying castle. This once grand structure is situated upon a high hill, surrounded by lush forest. The soft chirping of bird song filled the dusky twilight, as they settled down to sleep.

Nocturnal animals are starting to awaken as the sun kisses the horizon. A soft rustle barely heard above the frogs can be heard in the castle. The shifting of rocks sliding upon the soil. Or perhaps the soil itself shifting. A pale blur races across the cliff side, as the pale moon cast's his soft rays across the dewy grass.
A lone femme stands within the crumbling courtyard, her emerald oculi with limited vision watches the elongated shadows. Her full height is five feet, five inches. Her long curly raven hair is half up, in a elegant twist secured by a ruby, and onyx hair ornament. A black rose, surrounded by fire. A black silk spaghetti strap tank top highlights her pale skin, and slender form. Tight black leather pants encase her long legs, leaving no room for weapons nor the imagination. Black combat boots encase her petite feet.

She would pace around the courtyard, her strides are of agitation. Upon her third lap of the courtyard, she would stop. Tilting her head skyward, she'd look at the moon. A soft sigh would pass through her pale pink lips. "How I so long to be unchained from this cursed land." She would say to herself. She would close her eye's, letting happier memories fill the space around her.

"What is such a delectable creature such as yourself doing upon my lands?" A velvety male voice would call out from behind a nearby stone pillar. She would whirl quickly towards the sound, straining her limited eyesight to pierce the gloom. A throaty chuckle would caress her delicate ears, as a shiver would pass through her body. "You still haven't answered my question desert flower, why are you on my land?"

"This was once my home land, I have every right to be standing upon this soil.", she would whisper softly. Her emerald oculi catching a moving shadow, before that voice spoke again right behind her. "Well well the little desert rose decided to come home hmm? I hate to break this to you sweetheart, but only bones of your clan remain." She would turn around almost falling, trying to see who this mysterious male is. Why, and how does he know so much about her clan?

A chilly, yet pale long fingered hand would gently grasp her right bicep. Keeping her upright, and stable. She would follow that hand upwards. First thing she sees is a snowy white dress shirt cuff, with a expensive gold cuff link. Past that is a midnight black silk suit, the fabric almost sensual in of itself. Broad shoulders fill out the upper portion, while a hint of bare chest is glimpsed underneath. Cinnamon curls frame a very breathtaking face. Chiseled jaw, to high cheekbones. However the most strikingly handsome feature of this face are emerald oculi. Those startling orbs are framed within dark shadowy depths, making them all that more alluring. She would quite literally suck a deep breath into her now starving lungs.

He would merely let another throaty laugh escape his pale pink lips. The sound alone would cause shivers to run up her spine, while goosebumps would raise upon her arms. “How do you know so much about my clan?”, she would stutter out. Her vocal cords are frozen with a mixture of amazement, and lust. Her subconscious mind knows that this man is a threat to her wellbeing, however her body is fighting that information. “I've watched over your clan since they first arrived. I've watched you since you were born love. I had simply thought to make you my bride when the time was right.”, he would simply reply.

She would literally have her mouth hanging open at this information, while he would raise his free hand gently shutting it closed. “Don't look so shocked love, your very beautiful Skyfire. Allow me to introduce myself, Alexander Dantez at your service. I decided to take your clan's surname.” She would let a tiny moan escape her lips at his soft touch. He would move away a fraction of a inch, the cool breeze immediately restoring some of her sanity.

“But why? Why me? I'm not..”, she would attempt to say. Alexander however would cut her off mid sentence, “Don't even say that you are not beautiful love. You're the sole reason I have decided to continue to walk this eternal twilight. I think it best we continue this conversation another night. May the moonlight always shine upon your beautiful face my love.” With those parting words he would simply not be standing next to her anymore. She would scan the area best as she could, yet she wouldn't find a trace of him.

She knew deep inside that it would be near impossible to continue to search. If he wanted to keep himself concealed from her, he could for eternity. She would walk away from the courtyard, into the dark night, heading to her own grave for another day.
