Some may wonder why my picture for many stories is a river.

Some may say it represents the long and winding path of life.
It's ups and downs, it's triumphs and failures.

Others may say it represents the quick yet steady pace of life,
Where if you don't think fast and on your feet, you might pass by all your opportunities and never see them again.

Others still may equate it to the circle of life, as it travels in a cycle, like the water cycle.

The truth is none of these things.

I say it is simply because my cover design app was acting up, and it happened to be one of the very few pictures I had on my device at the time, even then only there for a project, used as a reference tool.

Funny how the human race in general (we writers in particular) tend to see depth where none exists, and imagine complexities that never aroused.
