I don’t blame you for not leaving, Love can be blind. 

Believing he loved you because he kneeled down on one knee. 

Too scared to escape, 

Wishing you had the wings like a butterfly, so you can find the strength to leave. 

Instead of pulling out dozen of roses he pulled out a knife. 

His hands holding on so tight to the knife, his veins are bulging. 

He then apologize and claimed to love you, so you stayed.

Do I deserve this ? You wondered. 
Is this Love ? You wondered. 

There was a night you begged that you had help. 

But it was too late, 

you tried fighting back but he was much stronger. 

You might had not gotten your wings as a butterfly and had the strength to leave. 

But now you have your wings as an angel. 

Too scared to escape.
