Sinclair Broadcast Group's system wide "false news" opinion statement, was scripted for all of its 190+ local tv broadcast stations. The message, read verbatim by each outlet was uncomfortable to watch. Clearly, many of the tv anchors were visually upset having to read the copy. Why? Because the message is an  indisputable authoritarian propaganda tactic with an unmistakable trumpian bent. We the people need to stand-up and speak out against this clear attack on the 1st Admendment and specifically, the free press. The "third rail", the journalists, have always been and will always be our democracy's best protection against propaganda and the danger that presents to our liberty. Subjective, opinionated news shows and publications are vastly different from the vetted work of objective journalists who source and fact check their news reports. Feeble attempts to conflate the two must not be tolerated without exacting a cost to the vile perpetrators. Boycott all advertisers on local Sinclair owned stations and make sure they know of your protest. God bless the free press!
