forgetting.
The eager glint of your eyes
The little scar on your forehead
You breaking into that bright, vibrant smile
I am starting to forget.

The giggles when you twirl and sway
The rythm of your breaths
You laughing your heart away
I am starting to forget.

The fragrance of your messy curls
The familiar feeling of your scent
You beautiful, breathtaking girl
I am starting to forget.

The warmth of your embrace
The kisses on my neck
You caressing my face
I am starting to forget.

The smack of your chapstick
The relish of your skin
You biting your bottom lip
I am starting to forget.

The day that I first saw you to The day when we started talking
The day I took you to dinner to The day I made you mine
You took over my senses You took over control
I remember it all even when you're gone
I am still, as promised, starting to forget.
