It had been one hour since Khol started healing Mark, and Kniion was already in sight. I realised I hadn't seen Riley for a while, so I decided to ask about where I could find him.
"Hey, Apple, you know where Riley is?"
Apple, with his new tablet installed on him, displayed: 'Engine Room'.
"Thanks, but I don't know where that is. Can you download a map onto my tracker?" I replied, handing a small phone-like device over to Apple.
Apple beeped, before grabbing a wire and plugging it into itself. After a minute, the download had finished and it was unplugged.
"Thanks!"
I ran off, following it to the destination. As I travelled through a corridor, I heard a smooth wshhing sound as a door opened. I didn't pay any attention to it, and kept going. I arrived at the engine room; entering it with haste.
"Oh, hey Saph! Just helping out with some of these workers: the secondary engine broke down, and I thought it would be useful to learn how to repair different things." Riley welcomed, making me slightly shocked.
"Did you just call me SAPH? Heh, Saph. I guess it's alright. But why didn't you come looking for me beforehand?"
"Why didn't YOU?" He smirked, annoying me."Anyway, have you found Mark and Petal?"
"Mark took a shard of metal to the heart, and is currently being healed by Khol. I've heard nothing from Petal."
"Jeez, Mark, THE Mark, taking a hit to the heart. Unheard of. But why would you joke about such a thing? Huh. Do you know when he will be able to stand?" Riley asked, probably forgetting about Petal.
"In less than an hour."
"Alright. Shall we try find Petal?"
"Sure."

Apple managed to install the Trojan already? Impressive.
Well, of course! I programmed him to complete missions as soon as possible. And as you know, I am the best programmer in this city.
Whatever, good job anyway, though.

We walked into what seemed like thousands of different individual rooms, until we came upon one room. The viewing station, where you can watch beautiful space-whales or jellystars. Petal stood on the edge, holding the handrail like those people from that movie, what was it, Titanic?
"I better leave you to it..." I said as I walked away, heading towards the bridge. My watch would be inaccurate in space, so I would have to ask someone what the space time was, to see if it had been an hour. I found an exhausted chef who was writing something on a calender, and I went over to them.
"Hello, can you tell me the time?"
"Ooh! Oh, yes, sorry darling, I didn't see you there. I think I have my watch somewhere..." She replied, fiddling with a small pocket in her apron. "Fifty-four, thirty-two."
"What! He must have woken, what, half an hour ago! I've gotta rush, thanks for your help, though!"
"No problem, darling."
Swiftly, my legs thrust me forwards as I started into a sprint.
"Hello, this is the captain speaking. Please make your way to a seat that has a restrained, and prepare for landing."
The speaker announced, forcing me to skid to a halt and look for one of those special seats.
"Darn it, now I'll have to meet Mark later. Well, nothing I can do." I mumbled to myself. When did I start caring about Mark so much? Maybe because this 'Alliance' has started to feel more of a family than a group of random people who are watching each other's back and throwing random insults and jokes about.
"Hey, over here! Spare seat." A distant voice suddenly entered my head. I looked around somewhat desperately, scanning the area. A small arm waving about entered my sight, and when I looked down, it appeared to be Slir who was calling me over.
I clambered into the seat that was next to him and buckled up. "So, whatever goes on in Phonir? What do you do when you're young?"
"Well, when you're young, our entertainment is usually watching the soldiers fight and practise, or help the adults with printing tiles to fit in buildings. When you reach an age of fifteen, you move on to choosing a job and becoming an apprentice. Usually, you spend ten to twenty-five years of your life as an apprentice, before moving on to be integrated properly into society."
"Oh, wow. That sounds like a pretty boring life, no offence."
"No offence taken, to be fair, I agree with you: I spent eighteen years training to be a Viper. Those years hurt, a lot. One day I ended up in a huspotel because I got hit in the face by a jellystar. Oh, sorry. I forgot your language's word for huspotel is hospital. Ignore my Phoese."
I chuckled, thinking of how odd Phoese sounded.
"Hello, this is the captain speaking. We are now about to touch ground."
"Finally!" I yelled, probably loud enough for someone in the engine room to hear. Within seconds, we heard the thrusters turn off, indicating we had landed.
"Come on!" I encouraged Slir to follow.
"Err, I don't know, if people saw Pho in their city, they might think of attacking me."
"Oh, yeah. Same with me, but they would find me more innocent."
"What should we do, then?"
"I guess ask the captain?"
"Sure, I mean, we don't have any other choice, do we?"
"Nope!" I started jogging to the bridge.
As soon as we got there, I had to rub my eyes to believe what I was seeing. The city was beautiful, it's towering skyscrapers launched into the sky, and massive gardens hung over the edge of these buildings, hundreds of unbooked plant species curving through the city, unaffected by the society. It was as if Kni and plant lived together as one, in pure harmony. I spotted a huge waterfall in the background, pink and purple water falling and landing to create huge pillows of air and foam as it landed. The planet was covered in lime-green grass combined with multicolored insects. A bird swept overhead, it's silver wings turning rainbow against the light of the Sun that seemed so distant. "Wow."

  • You have some beautiful images in mind, but you need to work on your presentation of them. Use adjectives like sparkling or glistening. Adjectives are descriptive and create a clearer picture of what your saying.
