Sometimes the sky is a vibrant blue Sometimes its a soft blue with tones of pink and orange And sometimes its black with an alien like blue glow down the horizen Windows always rolled down Making my hair dance And my body chill Desperately searching for the winning car and listning for airplanes New music plays in the back Talks about our day And old memories The comfortable silence The comfort and wormth of my own bed Soft blanket, torn at the seems Lavender sented stuff bear And a dog that wont let me move Always the first one awake Sunlight beams in my room Refusing the option for more sleep Hot cup of coffee Watching the birds in the tree Lizards on the window seal Snails racing across the sidewalk Dead spices in the garden Trees covering the sidewalk up to the door Snakes slither across the way Vins swing from the roof My house is always cold But my room is always warm
