When I give my best but my best is not good enough my best won't let my mind rest

I guess I have to put my trust in you Lord to lead me to do the best and be the best that I can be

From the very first day you allowed me to leave my parents nest to get out into the world to do my best

You Lord giving me the yellow light to slow down for what to come and to look in all directions for safty

I put my best foot forward because I know that you will lead me in the right direction without no red lights along the way to keep me from going straight

You lord gave me the green light to go ahead and not look backwards on yesterday that kept me in chains for so long

Thank You Lord For Allowing Me To Do And Be My Best Because My Best Is Always Good Enough For You
