DRINKING AND DRIVING what can I say I have a story to tell and need to be heard

Some might say it's to right my wrong and for you all, you are so very right

If writing this can save many Lives, than I'm more blessed than I'd could ever be by God Surprise

Because you see this is My Story of a Man who Chooses to DRINK AND DRIVE

A story that we hear far too many times but too many of us are too Absorb in Our Own Satisfaction to Admit it

That we have a Problem a DRINKING Problem some don't see it, but for those who do and no better there is no excuse to DRINK AND DRIVE

There are Help out there Everywhere. But You have to Want it Bad Enough to receive it

  Far too many Resources these days more than ever for Someone not to get Help no Excuses

 In Georgia they have the Cop Taxi Cab You can take it either way very good concept I must say

Maybe I had one or two too many before hitting the road

Who am I'm fooling I had way too many DRINK'S to get behind a wheel of a car and decide to DRINK AND DRIVE

Thanks to God o'mighty no one was killed or Hurt but near misses with death I had a few that still lurtz in the back of my mind at times.  

When times are silent Reflections on how blessed I was while DRINKING AND DRIVING and still be here to tell the tale

But I still decided to get behind the wheel of a car after DRINKING far too many

Always thinking I can handle it the wrong way of thinking when you DRINKING AND DRIVING

And all other Lives are at steak Foolish Thinking on my part I must admit

Who roads are these anyway they are your roads and they are my roads

So what gives Me the right to DRINK AND DRIVE on these public roads

Many Lives, I've put at risk but Heavenly Bliss was with me every step of the way to keep me and other safe out of Harm's Way

From a person who decided to get behind a wheel of a car DRINKING And DRIVEING no Excuse for Me
I Decided to get behind the wheel of car far too many times DRINKING AND DRIVING

 Mostly everything that bad happened to me was  while DRIVING is while DRINKING AND
DRIVING

DRINKING AND DRIVING always have a story behind it some might think it's a good story for them because nothing ever bad happened to them 

 Never Say Never nothing Good ever come out of DRINKING AND DRIVING 

Yes I must say it's a good feeling listening to the tunes without a care in the world while DRINKING AND DRIVING

You're in a World of your own before you know it Bamm you hit something or someone

You really don't know what happened from being in a Daze

 Although it never happened to me but I have seen it once or twice or maybe more

True story one snowy early morning around 2 a.m. after DRINKING with the boys

It was snowing really hard, roads covered with snow and ice DRIVING was unbearable

It was Snowing so hard you had to creep your way through the snow taking your time driving

Drunk Drivers have taken so many of my Family and Friends and Yours as well I'm quite sure

2 a.m. in the early morning I'm DRIVING about to  exiting onto the freeway after having way too many DRINKS with the Boys

JUST as I was about to pull onto the freeway a van flew right past me 

Then it started to skidded out of control into the ditch it went after flipping three or four or five times 

I started to skid myself to keeping the fan from behind four lanes over and four lanes back into the ditch I went 

Before I knew it I was out of the ditch without a Hitch

The Driver of the Van was DRINKING AND DRIVING and I know I sure was 

Got on cell phone call nine-one-one there was an emergency on it's way as we speak

I exit the freeway headed back home and that's where I stay where I belong to keep from DRINKING AND DRIVING to keep myself and other safe from Harm's way from the Magic in the Bottle

So Please Think before you get behind the wheel of a Powerful Mahine that has no Mind of his Own only the Person DRIVING it has all Control 

SO Do Not DRINK AND DRIVE

My Life and Other Lives are Saved because I decided not to DRINK AND DRIVE

I've been Clean and Sober for many years now and has no Desire going Back to the Magic in the Bottle 

I have nothing to Hide, if this can save Lives 

I'm not ashamed though I have many life Lessons Learned 

They are still Learning Lesson to be learned

But the biggest Lesson I've Learned is not to DRINK AND DRIVE so I Gave it up Totally

So you never have to watch your back when I'm DRIVING down the street 

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE SAVE'S MANY LIVE'S
