I was talking to one of my mentors last night and they was telling me about myself and how I'm always trying to use my mind and I never give up and that I'm always coming up with something new. got They gave me a example of when I was one of the first managers for Burger King in town before they even finish building it, I was offered the number one assistant manager position. I went to Atlanta Georgia to Whopper College for management at the age of 19 but I was assistant manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Detroit at the age of 17 while I was in high school. I also worked in mailman moving Man Clothing Store in town as a assistant manager and tailor that's how George asked me to be manager for Burger King because he owns Burger King so he sent me to school. So I got to talking to my mentor and told her that my business sense had started way back when I was younger. When I was about eight or nine years old I made a shoe shine kit. Went up on Michigan Avenue in Detroit stood in front of a barber shop that a black woman owned and every now and then she would let me sweep the floor and work around the shop. The shop had a shoe shine stand in there but there was an old man who ran the shoe shine stand. So day after day week after week I went up there shining shoes in front of the barbershop. Until one day I went there and the old man wasn't there anymore I can't remember what happened to him but I do remember me taking over the shoe shane stand at the age of eight or nine. From there at the age of 10 I went on to get my own Detroit news paper route with about a hundred customers or more. But you see I knew the business from helping my older cousin Butch and he had about 200 customers or more. Don't know how I got my mother to sign the slip if she did I probably did it myself. So from there I've been hustling every since. I've managed and supervised hundreds of people of all walks of life. As well as trained new business owners and running their janitorial services you name it I've done it area supervisor over a Michigan University contract Eastern Michigan University contract University of Michigan hospital Cinemax theater you name it they were my contracts... so it's time for me to do it for myself because my head is clear as it can be now thank you God Amen..
