"Yes Sir Charles I completely understand as I've been in the situation myself. You'd think being a tribe of healers we'd be all peaceful and happy." Sky scoffs as she forks a mouthful of veggies in chewing slowly she swallows then finishes her statement. "There's people in my tribe, well there used to be that if a baby was born with a weak aura it was to be killed and they did that for hundreds of years. You've always wondered why my tribes so small and nomadic wanderers right? Well now you know because of personal population control." Sky finishes with her vegetables and picks up her second lamb chop nibbling on the end in clear distress.
"That's tragic Lady Sky. I never knew I'm sorry. See here you have three paths to take. If you're sound in body you go to warrior camp, if you're sound in mind you go to summoning school and if you're sound spiritually then you're enrolled in magic academy. Myself being Chao Champion am the only Visigoth in 50 years to pass all three courses and I'm balanced with an equal third in all aspects.
So see even our farmers excel at something they're all earth masters, just like our Blacksmith's are naturally fire masters and I'm assuming that your tribe of healers even though they can use probably all the basic elements excel at using water based manipulations. Ah I see by your shocked look I'm right, but how did I know you might ask?Simple I used reasonable deduction to achieve the most likely answer. My question was what do healers sustain? Answer life itself and next question. Which element represents life? Answer well water of course and that's how I came to my conclusion. "
Sky simple sits back and stares at Chao in wonderment. 'So he's not all muscle. There is a brain in there.' Sky muses to herself before speaking out loud finishing her meal and sliding her plate to the side.
"Well Sir Charles I must admit I'm impressed. Here I thought you were just some muscle bound warrior with battle lust 24 hours on the brain, but you surprised me Sir. You just proved to me that you are in fact capable of coherent thought and clear decision making. This is a side of you I've never seen but I do like it and hope to see more of it. Now are you almost done eating I'd like to get started we've got a lot of miles to cover before nightfall." Chao simply smiles at Sky as he takes the last large chunk of beefsteak and shoves it in his mouth. His chiseled cheek bones move up and down ad he chews and with several large gulps the meat is now in his gullet. Chao picks up his goblet then raises it to his lips, he tips both his head and the cup back drinking the grog in three massive gulps. Setting down his cup he goes to cover his mouth with the white cloth napkin in his left hand but before he can a loud belch escapes his lips. Glancing at Sky he turns red once more before muttering "Excuse me" under his breath, the pale skinned Healer simply lets out a throaty chuckle clearly enjoying Charles embarrassment. Not making eye contact with her Chao picks up his plate, dumps the bones and waste then quickly exits the tent which causes Sky to laugh and say to herself.
"So there is a soft interior underneath that hard shell. I can't believe this Sky but I think you've broken down one of his many walls. That's twice I've seen him red today." She wonders smiling slightly. "Once when he belched and once when I was walking up and caught him looking at me. Now I know the belch red was embarrassment I wonder what the one early today was? Did he get embarrassed because I caught him looking at me?" Sky wonders feeling her own face grow warm as she comes to a realization. "Omg!" She exclaims squeaking slightly and causing others eating nearby to turn then look at her. "I think Charles has feelings for me. Well I couldn't have picked a better man to like me and it's not like he's hard to look at. Also now that I've gotten to know him I guess he's not so bad..." Sky suddenly stops as she realizes what's happened. "Holy crap." She mutters to herself. "Do I really have feelings for a Visigoth and a warrior no less? Damn you King Arnold and your match making attempts. Oh well it's not like anything will come from it I'm to scared to say anything and I'm sure he doesn't know my feelings." Sky sighs before grabbing her tray, emptying it and exiting the mess hall. "Although it would be nice to have someone who needs me for more than just my healing properties." Sky finishes softly as she joins Chao who's waiting by the horses.
The servant standing by Sky's mare hands them to her at the same time another hands the reigns to Chao and the leads to their supply horses. The duo mount up and digging their heels into the the horse's side take the North trail out of the camp and through the grasslands to the Northern Coastal Kingdom of their allies the Orogoth's.

“Sky I remember when we had to go on that midwife mission last winter deep into the snow packed peaks? Even though I pushed you through that storm, and rode you pretty hard on that campaign. You never once complained, and by doing that you earned my respect. Then you earned my love when I saw the loving touch that you used both on myself, and fellow warriors. That showed me your gentle soul making me fall in love with you.” Charles says looking at his wife, Jr gets behind him and traces his back. "And scar Dada? How get scar?" He exclaims wide eyed. "Yeah Dada scar." Mimics the princess. "I'm getting to that little ones." Says Charles before beginning again.

[FLASH BACK TO 689 AD CHAO & SKY'S FIFTH MISSION]

The horizon was streaked with bands of crimson, and lavender. A few thin clouds stretch across the horizon. The celestial orb of the sun is making her way towards new lands. A thin golden shaft of the last rays of sunlight hits a decaying castle. This once grand structure is situated upon a high hill, surrounded by lush forest. The soft chirping of bird song filled the dusky twilight, as they settled down to sleep.
Nocturnal animals are starting to awaken as the sun kisses the horizon. A soft rustle barely heard above the frogs can be heard in the castle. The shifting of rocks sliding upon the soil. Or perhaps the soil itself shifting. A pale blur races across the cliff side, as the pale moon cast's his soft rays across the dewy grass.
Suddenly without warning three masked men storm into the trail. Charles reaches for his blade but is struck down by a vicious slash to his back, and Sky screams. Suddenly she and Charles are engulfed by white flames that cascade outwards consuming the bandits in flames. As they scream, and collapse to the ground in flames. Sky enraged  rushes to the warriors side, and exclaims. "Oh my god Charles no! Please be alive!"
As she checks on him silver tears cascade down both cheeks. "Please be alive." She sobs, and then breathes relief as she sees he's breathing. Now to heal the wound. She places both of her hands upon the wound, as she closes her eyes. A soft golden light would begin to shine from underneath her palms. The blood vessels that were torn, start to close together. The muscles, and tendons link together next. Then as the light begins to grow brighter, so does the jagged skin close together. Beats of sweat dot her upper brow during all of this. In an unconscious habit, her white teeth bite down upon her lower lip. As the wound finally stitches back together, the light fades away. The now pink skin is raised, yet it will never be as it was. She slumps forward over his body, as her oculi roll into the back of her head. For now she's in an unconscious replenishing state.

They both lay there not moving with Charles breathing deeply, then with a gasp he startles awake. As he feels a weight on his back. "But I was struck down how is it I'm not bleeding?" He rolls gently over, and sees Sky unconscious on top of him. Sitting up he cradles her in his arms while looking around, first he sees the smoldering bodies of the bandits and the sporadic flames. Then he feels the scar on his back and looks at Sky in wonderment. "Oh my god you did all this, what could've have made such a gentle flower so angry?" He wonders as she comes to, still holding her he asks. "Lady Sky what happened to anger you so, and what happened to me?"

"Bandits tried to kill you, that answers both of your questions Charles." She has deliberately dropped the honorific title she'd normally use. She would inhale deeply through her pert button nose, then exhale through her pale pink cupid mouth. Her upper back ripples with each successive breath she takes. She is highly aware of the strong arms that are cradling her upper body. However she leans her head back upon his forearm, while her emerald oculi looks into his cobalt blue one's. She is exhausted, yet wanting to preserve this memory firmly into her mind.

Several centuries have passed since that touching family scene. Sky was killed by enemies of the Visigoth Kingdom. Her poor twins were killed before her eye's, then she suffered death herself. Charles, and Dimitri were off on a scouting mission. By the time they arrived home it was too late, the damage had been done.

A powerful enemy wizard managed to seal her soul, and preserve her body. She tried to show Charles where she was time, and time again. He was able to see, and communicate with her. However he could never find her. After a particular bitter fight between them one night, he left to never be seen again.

Sky wandered through the various realms, in hopes someone would help her. She found a man by the name of Limited God, and Med-Trap. They consulted with her, and helped her not fade away into the void. She left that realm, seeking someone else who could help. Finally she came upon her Maker. He after centuries found her soul, and body.

However the price to become what she was once, was to become a vampire. She agreed to those terms, so he did what he promised. Sky not wanting to face those she knew in spirit form, decided to sleep for centuries. However eternal solitude wasn't what she wanted after all. She woke up, and searched the realms for those she knew.

She managed to find her friend's in a place called Nowhere Bar. Those friend's became family, something she longed for. Now she's making new friends, and a new life for herself.
