A fork in the road
As its often told
Is a time that one 
Must pick a side

But what if each tine of 
the fork is blocked
Coinciding a flood 
Rising from behind

With two feet on the ground
And limited sight
This presents
Quite the bind 

On the wings of faith
With a helpful embrace 
One can only hope to survive
