A heavy sigh
When all the lights grow dim

Alone and cold
As pain takes a hold 
Pulling from limb to limb

When laughter fails
And tears run dry
Weakness begins to set in

No one to confide 
All the troubles of life
As a soul rips
Apart at the hem
