I’m afraid to show
The world who I really 
Am. I’m afraid to let people
In.  I’m afraid to smile. 

I’m afraid to disappoint everyone.
I’m afraid to let people know 
My feelings and thoughts. 
I’m afraid to trust someone.
I’m afraid to let people down. 

I’m afraid of a lot of things 
That sometimes I even ask why.
In the end I’m really afraid 
To be the real ME.
