Undying Love

My father looks up at me and says "You are just like your mother. Smart, kind,strong,and most definitely beautiful. " I smile and look at my father. "I don't know  last time I said I love you " He says. So he said it and I started to cry. It was the first time in long time that I felt comforted by my father's words. He pulled me close to him and held me in his arms.
I think both of us felt mom hug us and tell us that everything was going to be alright.
