Logan Lane
What's in a name
Strong hands
With a gentle spirit
Intuition runs deep
And if a heart breaks
He will be the first to hear it
Quick and willing to help
So giving of himself
And he is also quite fearless
Wise beyond his years
With plenty of peers
If you cross him
He can become quite fierce
An excellent hunter
On target sharp shooter
And a fisherman with much experience
A farmers green thumb
Planting peas by the row
Resistant of the hot sun
Which would send some delirious
The apple of his mother's eye
She sings out a a prideful cry
As she stands behind
And cheers him

This is a poem I wrote for my youngest son who is also my best friend.
Thank you son for being the fine young man that you are. I love you so very much. And I am quite proud of the decisions you make on your own. :)
