 Ryder drove me to the hospital where the doctors had attend to my wound, I saw the disbelief in my parents eyes after I told them everything that  happen that night, the following day Ryder and I met up at the library after collecting some books from the shelf I return to the table to find him slouch asleep in the chair, I slam a book on the table bother by his lack of attention, and his eyes jerk open.

"After nearly being killed the least you can do is help me complete this project."I snap.Ryder yarn and laid his head on the table, then we heard a little old lady walking pass us whisper.

"No talking in the library." I sigh turning my attention to the notebook, Ryder lean in close to me, but I gave him the cold shoulder.

"I'm sorry you had to go through such a difficult ordeal but vampires have always walk amongst us humans, hiding in the shadows and prey on the weak. We are just a few of many that know of their existence." He snap back." I slide the notebook across the table toward him, he stare at it for a brief moment.

"Alright.What can you tell me about this?"I ask, I saw the expression on his face when he look directly at me, I was convience that he knew exactly what it is.

"Nadia, when did you draw this? Do you know what this is? these hieroglyphs must be some kinda of Vampire Language." he said, but I didn't share in the same fascination, as he did.

" Ryder, this is my hand drawing, but I have no recognition of ever drawing this.All I see whether I'm asleep or awake is this. I'm no doctor but don't you think that's a cause for concern?"I snap again.Ryder crack a smile at me, then he rip the page from the notebook, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he wasn't telling me.

"Nadia, we need to find someone to translate this.And I think I know just the person, but it's imperative that we leave right now." he said, before I could gather any of the books into my book bag he took hold of my hand and we fled to his car, our jaw drop when we saw a flock of bats flying in the dark starry sky suddenly attack the car."Dive!" I yell, panicking, Ryder quickly turn the key in the ignition and drove off at fast speed until we could no longer see the bats in the review mirror, I don't know what other dangers that await us, but for the first I wasn't going to be left in the dark, with the help of my best friend I know we'll find the answers we seek.
