Hurricane Through A Rose Read Count : 146

Here lies a rose.

What no one knows,

The pain contained therein.

It persists through the coldest snows.

Searching for something akin,

To the raging hurricane within.

Which it finds, tearing holes in its precious petals.

Unable to withstand; skin so paper thin.

Among shrapnel of the sharpest metal

Taping it's delicate petals, trying to find a way to settle

On it's own fate decided by the hurricane inside.

Finally, storm gone, upon the ground scattered, lost it's mettle
