Before I start... I m-must simply say that the writings in this book are simply from the past... It's almost...
Like... Invalid.... If you are listening to this well.... I am dead... I must also say that if you are listening to this well... You are too dead maybe not yet but after reading this things will happen... Bad things....

My name is Harper. I'm 10. Just a week ago. I found a stone with the word 'Invalid' Encrypted into it. Ever since then strange things have been happening to me. "Invalid" It whispered in his head "Invalid" It whispered again. Ever since he found the stone he'd been hearing whispers in his mind. He heard something calling him from behind. He woke up "Invalid!" Harper's teacher yelled loudly. He thought he saw something behind her. But it went away as he looked closer. So he figured it was his imagination.

When he got home from school, he went straight up to his room. He was tired so he collapsed down on his bed and fell asleep. He woke up in a room similar to his own but there was black roots everywhere and they were lined all over the walls. When he opened his bedroom door, he saw a weird creature with 4 quarters of his face cut into an X which later opened toshow a whole circle of teeth. He ran as fast as he could away from it. Then he finally got away. He saw a girl wrapped in black vines around her, as he looked closer he saw a necklace on her it said "Barb" on it.

He woke up right back in his classroom. Except there was something strange about it. No one was there. On the wall he saw writings that said, 'we are gone' 'ONLY ONE CAN LIVE!' He tried to talk but he couldn't. He could feel liquid all over his feet. Then it started rising higher, As he looked down he saw blood and skulls with eyes still inside the sockets rise up from the liquid.

He woke up again and found the stone lay next to him. He was infuriated. He grabbed it and threw it out the window as hard as he could.
At least he thought he did. The stone started growing into him. Half of his body froze as it stood before him. "Invalid" it whispered. "Invalid!" It was louder now. "INVALID!!!" It yelled this time. Then he realized he was frozen completely now. He let free.

When he woke up he pinched himself to make sure he was really awake. It hurt! Then he realized the stone was there. "Invalid" it kept on whispering. The whispers kept getting louder. He noticed a gun on a table in front of him. He grabbed the gun. It was time to end this pain. He put it up to his head and pulled the trigger....

He finally woke up this time. He was in his bedroom. His alarm was going off. He walked over to it and turned it off. Then he noticed the stone was gone, He looked around. Nothing. Suddenly he knew where it was. He ran down stairs. The word INVALID painted in capital letters on the wall. He couldn't take it anymore. "Invalid" It keeps on whispering. He felt that his mouth was dry. He needed water! He ran to the kitchen. He saw his mom. Her face boiling in the pan. With blisters all over it. And blood oozing out of them. This was very disturbing. He wondered where his dad was. He got a glass of water and chugged it down, He saw something through the bottom of the glass a creature of some sort, crawling closer.
