My mother never wanted me. I was left home alone at aged three. On my fourth birthday childcare services took me away. I knew my mother didn't give a shit. She bawled her eyes out to make the services give me back but it didn't work. I ran away from her after she gripped me back and I was within her reach. She tried so many things that didn't work. It was a Saturday on the day of my thirteenth birthday when I heard a couple say they wanted a thirteen year old girl who causes no trouble. The couple were young and wealthy. "Marissa, can you come in here?" Called the caretaker. She spoke about life with the couple and I ran over to the woman and hugged her. She hugged back. "Is it too soon to call you mum?" I ask. She shook her head and gave a great smile to her husband. "So your name's Marissa?" My new dad asked. I nod as we arrive at our house which I soon realise is a mansion. I run riot but cause the young couple no trouble at all. I looked in all the bedrooms and found a room with a double bed on the top bunk with a desk underneath. I picked that room and started to unpack. I soon knew that I was settling in well. I decided to go ask my new mum about how they are so rich but decided to adopt instead of keep the rich veins. She tells me a story on how she can't have children and I nod sympathetically, comforting her, I help her to the bedroom and lie her on the double bed and let her rest. I ask dad what's for dinner and then he tells me to ask the chef who's in the kitchen. I rush to the kitchen and ask him. He replies in the most Italian accent with spaghetti. I giggle and brush it off. I take a long steamy bath and get ready for bed after dinner. In the morning I go outside to find a smelly toddler walking across the street. I pick her up and talk to mum about keeping her. I bath her and then give her clothes and do her hair. I pass to mum for babysitting while I'm at school. Mum says she might adopt Trudie so as I have a baby sister to be with. I nod and smile eagerly and she goes to sign the papers imminently.
