Tobias could feel the cuts and scars on his arms and legs, as scarlet blood filled them. He soon passed out from exhaustion. When he awoke, he saw Bevreli crying, "We can't go back or we'll be hung or worse!" Tobias tried comforting her, but she only pushed him away. He decided to walk around for a couple of minutes to get familiar with the surroundings. He saw a clearing and could see dark ominous clouds. "We need to find some shelter soon," he thought as he walked back to Bevreli. When he got back she was gone and started to panic. He ran around the forest calling for her. He was about to give up when he beard footsteps and he ran towards them. As he got closer, he heard voices. "Did you hear that, sounded like footsteps," one of the men said. Tobias hid behind a tree hoping that they would give up soon, but as seconds passed he could hear the footsteps getting closer. He bolted away from the tree and could hear them running after him. Then, he felt a very sharp pain in his shoulder. It felt like someone stabbed him, but he kept on running. What felt like minutes of running was only a couple of seconds, and time seemed to drag on. He could feel his energy seeping out of his wounds as he ran. He was about to collapse when he heard a bear and they started to run away from him. His legs couldn't keep him going any longer, and slowed down his pase rapidly as he collapsed to the ground, gasp for breath as he heard footsteps getting closer. "This is it," raced through Tobias's mind, " I'm going to die." "Tobias?" Bevreli said as she got closer to him. She started sprinting towards him.Tobias could hear her, but was in to much pain to respond to her cries. "You'll be okay," she told him. Tobias's vision slowly faded as he slipped out of consciousness.
