Chapter 1: The Day of Sorrow 3:57 am A silent creak can be heard under my foot as I walk on the cold wood floor, clenching my left fist as I hold tightly my combat knife in my right hand. Moving slowly in the dark shadowy parts of the house, I move to the stairs that lead to the upstairs, moving my left hand downward onto the railing of the stairs, I jump up silently but quick onto the railing with my feet. As I climb the railing I jump onto the higher railing, turning my body left and right as I jump off the railings to the upstairs, I crouch down as I approach the master bedroom, sticking to the dark areas I move quickly to the door; with it being partly open, I silently push it further, making my way in. I slowly walk to the bed where a man and his wife lay asleep, moving my combat knife up, gently guiding it to the man's throat, in a split second I move the knife into his throat, sliding it across as quick and smooth as cutting butter. I look to the wife, checking to see if she was waking up, moving to her side of the bed with her dead husband beside her, I then go to move the blade to her throat-- "Phantom, the wife is not to be harmed" my 'superior' says in my ear, I quickly vanish from the scene, leaving only an Opera Mask on the edge of the bed.
