Last night, for the first time i slept
This morning for the first time I hadnt wept.
There were no thoughts of things I'd done
There were no shouts, Brothers in Arms, gone
I woke today refreshed and renewed,
Happy, that for once, my mind wasnt screwed
Ive often tried to never close my eyes
Never watch as my friends slowly die
Gunshot wounds, fire and bombs
Suicide, Murder and driving gone wrong
These are the things that ruin my sleep
These are the things that cause me to weep
But not last night...last night I dreamed!
