Chapter 1:
Fear Toxin

This is how it happened. This is how the Batman died.
"So, what will it be, the usual?" said the waitress to Officer Owens. Officer Owens was a part of the GCPD Force, every night after a long day at work he would eat diner in a Pauline's Diner at roughly 20:00pm every night.
"Sure," he replied back. Ok, chicken salad with no dressing, she said smoothly and quietly to herself as she wrote down the order on a yellow post-it-note. His wife had told him to eat healthy foods like this all the time, but he changed his mind to have something unhealthy to eat for one night, it would just be a secret for his wife to not know.
"Actually, you know what? Make it waffles, with a side of bacon, don't tell my wife!"
"Whatever you say Officer." She took a slow walk to the window leading to the kitchen on the other side of the counter the waiter was behind, and shouted threw the window for no apparent reason, "NEXT ORDER, WAFFLES WITH BACON ON THE SIDE!"
Officer Owens picked up the white mug in front of him that was full of coffee that the waiter poured into it as he walked in 2 minutes ago and repeatably sized his coffee sip after sip until he was eventually Interrupted by the voice of a man that almost startled him.
"Hey, I'm sorry to interrupt your diner, Officer..." he looked at his badge "Owens," but there's a guy smoking over there, in the corner booth." The man pointed to the corner table at the other side of the Diner as the smoke from the cigarette floated into the air. Officer Owens rose from his seat and replied back.
"Wait here, I'll go and have a word." He stomped over to the corner table and poked the man who was at the table looking out the window into the distance of Gotham City with his jacket hood over his head.
"Excuse me Sir, there's no smoking in here." The man turned around as rose out of his seat before Officer Owens could even blink and his hood fell down and Officer Owens was greeted by a evil looking Demon with empty eye sockets and small sharp teeth, this person was definitely not a man. The Demon grabbed Officer Owens and lifted him into the air punching him in the chest lightly, everyone saw what was happening and they all screamed and ran out of the Diner as some people didn't make it out as they were getting beaten to death by other Demons in the room. Officer Owens pulled out his gun, still with the Demon on top of him and he took a shot at the Demon's chest and it fell to the ground and died, Owens rose up and shot one of the other Demons on top of the man he saw earlier who reported the guy about him smoking to try and save him from the Demon, he fell off him. Another Demon bounced off one of the tables and pounced at Owens getting on top of him, Officer Owens dropped his gun and the Demon knocked him unconscious and strook him with Fear. This was all over the News Channel and everyone in Gotham knew about what happened just 30 minutes later after the accident, an Unknown Broadcast was heard by everyone in Gotham as the known Super-Villain 'Scarecrow' AKA Jonathan Crane. He said on the Broadcast these words:
"This used just five ounces of my latest Fear Toxin, Tomorrow, those will seem like child's play. Gotham, this is your only warning."
