The driver took off at a fairly modest speed, further away from her boyfriends house. As the minutes ticked on, the more distant from safety she became.

She thought about leaping out of the car at any moment and making a run for it. He has a gun though. If she ran from him, he would surely shoot her. There is nothing she could use in her favour. No weapon and no phone.

She decided against it. She would let this play out. There was nothing else she could do. He had her held captive. The sun was beginning to set and the dark clouds began to cast a hellish darkness over the land.

They seemed to be getting further away from civilization.

The man hadn't said a word. He just kept looking straight ahead. She had been too nervous to speak in case he hit her or something.

'Please, where are we going....I'm sorry...I don't know what to say...'

Stillness. No words from the driver, he kept his gaze fixed on the road. The driver, who never gave his name, suddenly pulled off the main road and drove down a lane. Katherine noticed something down by the drivers seat. A phone. Not the phone he gave her, another phone. A much better phone. The screen of it had lit up the dark car.

Still, the driver made no mention of this and still gazed ahead. She knew she had been tricked into getting into his car. His gun was placed firmly between his legs, between his crotch.

The car was slowing down. She had no idea where she was. She had never noticed a long laneway around these parts here before.

For the first time the driver speaks up and says firmly 'Okay...we're here'.

'Where's HERE...what is this place?'

'Look, we just need to do this so shut your mouth and keep your eyes closed and pray'.

'Wait....what...WE??'

The car stops at the edge of a forest.

Through the darkness several men walked through the woods, towards the car.
