Chapter One
 Unknown Assassin

“So how much does the job pay. I’m not just going to go with the kill if it doesn’t do much on my end.” I Stated over the phone
“It should cover your rent for the next month or two. Plus you get all the reward money, I won’t take even a penny.” My informant, Jellal, replied.
“You know I give you a just enough of the reward so you can find me more jobs, right ?” I asked without expecting an answer.
We both started laughing yet it only lasted a minute or so. After all, I had to get ready for work.
“So that's my target,” I stated as I pinned the image of my target on my board. “I wonder if they’ll put up a fight. Not like I can’t handle a guard or two.” I continued.
I made my way to the silver moon inn, room 3 on whayberg road.
“Your target is Lady Yuliss of Hasse. She is apparently visiting the town for a couple of days.” Jellal had informed me.
When I got there, to my surprise, she had no bodyguards. It’s strange seeing as she’s of importance and all. Oh well, it just makes my job easier.
I hopped on to the window ledge and took out my throwing knife. I didn’t need to go all out, plus she’s royalty.
The second before I threw my knife she turned around and in a very calm and almost silent voice, she said something.
“ Are you here to kill me of your own will or by cause of your lack of money? ” She repeated.
How did she know I was here, or more like why I was here. Did Jellal organize this? No time to wonder why or how. It wouldn’t change anything.
I reached up and grabbed the top edge of the window. As quickly as possible I pulled myself up and onto the roof to go back to my apartment.
“It will be done by midnight tonight. Unless I am seen or get caught by the guards. Which in that case you would see me on tv.” I had said to my informer.
I smiled, I guess it won’t be done by midnight unless I try again a little later. It's not like she'd be waiting for me, right. No that’s impossible, why would I even be thinking of that.
It’s been an hour, I think it’s about time I finish this job for good. I stated after laughing quietly.
I hopped through the window and approached my target making no sound what so ever.
“I knew you’d come back” she mentioned out loud.
Right after those words came out of her mouth the window behind me had swiftly shut and locked, leaving the front door as my only exit.
As I stood there, clueless, she stood up and approached me with no fear. Although I am sure she was afraid deep inside.
She reached into her pocket and I back of a bit and took out my shurikens. Lady Yuliss took out a paper with a location, date and time marked on it.
She handed the paper to me and quietly asked me to be there before she left the room leaving the door open.

But, why would she want me to be at the royals school at this time? Oh well, I will at least show up in some type of formal attire that conceals my face.
I left the room through the same door she left through and showed up the next day a couple of minutes earlier hoping she would forgive me.
I would still have to kill her afterward but, that's an assassin's life and no one can change that.
“Wow, you actually showed up and in something close to formal. No need for the mask. After all, who would wear a mask on their visit to their new school?” Lady Yuliss stated.
I froze up, she took my hand and the tour began.

Chapter Two
Roiyaru San High

The school was an enormous maze. I couldn’t wander off too far from Lady Yuliss or I would never get out of the school.
“And that concludes the tour.” She stated before she turned to look at me. ”I told you that you don’t need to wear a mask.”
I stepped away and asked her what was the meaning of the well-guided tour. Without using those exact words.
She asked me to wait while she went to her locker to get something. She didn’t tell me what she was getting but, in a way, I knew what Lady Yuliss was getting.
