Once there was a dog named penny.
 Penny is a dalmation who loves to play and run around. 
Even when penny is cute she still is a little bit over protective.
Penny is a kind of dog who realy loves her people. 
Pennys owner a women named Jessica. 
The day that penny became a fire dog was the day when her owner died.  

One sunny day in summer penny was siting by the window and was just being cute... Jessica ran in and said hi to penny and ran to the phone. Penny saw her owner dile 911 and looked through the window and saw smoke coming from a house a block away. Sudenly she noticed that the door was open a nd ran for it. "Penny!" called her owner. As penny was runnig she heard somone call for help. So penny started running the other way. Then penny came to a stop. She stoped right at the house with smoke coming from it. Then penny ran in and saw a little girl traped in the corner. Penny tried to help but she was not strong enough. But penny needed to save this girl and she fought through it and grabed the little girl and brought her back to safety. When penny got back her owner was on the cold floor dead. End of book one
