Riccardo took in a ragged breath. He moved slightly and the chain clanked. He knew there was no way he was leaving alive. Why did he have to be so nosey? Why did the Mafia have to catch him? Why why why? This was just his fate. To be chained in cold cell and at the mercy of Trey Bailey, leader of the Mafia and one of the most merciless men alive. Hunter sighed. He always hated having to hurt a girl. But she wasn't coming willing. The Boss had said to use any means that he had to. And that's exactly what he was going to do. Hunter pulled out his gun and hit her on the back of the head. She fell to the ground. "You what?!?!" "You said 'use any means that you have to.' Besides, I didn't hit her hard." Trey Bailey burst out laughing. Hunter really was something else. No manhandling. No binding. Just a simple knockout with his gun. Callie banged on the door. "Let me out." She banged louder. "LET ME OUT!!!!" "No one can hear you, darling." Callie whipped around. A young man leaned against the wall. He pushed off the wall and walked toward her. "Didn't mean to frighten you." He held out his hand. "Alex Bailey." "Callie Marshal." She put her hand in his and shook it. It was, after all, in her best interest. She would never get out if she was rude. She'd play him and get him to let her leave. "Well, well. If it isn't Trey Bailey." "Hello Ian." The two men shook hands. "How's being a gang leader going?" "It's going well. And your business?" "It's well." Luca hung up angrily. Why wasn't his brother answering the phone? Riccardo was lazy but he always answered his phone. Something was terribly wrong. And how right Luca was.
