Once there where two kids named cleo and alex. 
There mom died when they where two. 
Alex always wonderd who she was and if they ever had a father. "Do you ever wonder what she was like?" asked alex. 
"No, not realy"said cleo. 
Alex always was so annoying  
"Cleo when are we having dinner, what is dinner, it better not be cabbage soup" sometimes cleo just wanted to punch alex. And cleo was a proper girl who just loved sewing. Because alex and her where pour, they always had to steal food so they would stay alive. Somtimes alex would steal other things like fabric, thread, and jewelry. Cleo and alex also had a compass and a pocket nife. They never knew how they got these things but they never sold them. Cleo somtimes used the pocket nife to cut food. But mainly neither tuched these strange items. One day cleo was walking by the he market she saw a strange man in black. On his neck was a necklace with a hook on it. Cleo knew that whoever that was worked for luther the leader of the black hook gang. End of chapter 1#
