I got married two years ago. I have three step sons and a step granddaughter.  My step sons range from 17 to 26, so they are grown and set in their ways. The oldest has a four year old daughter which both live with us. He works full time and pays nothing. He is a filthy slob who never cleans up after himself or his daughter. His bedroom looks like a bomb hit it and his daughter he forces to sleep on a bare mattress because he is to lazy to launder the sheets. I can't say anything unless I want a huge fight with him and my wife.
The middle son lives with us and pays nothing. He is studying to be a stenaughrapher. He is clean but still lazy. My biggest gripe with him, is that he is so judgemental and a know it all. He won't even try to get food stamps to help us out and his grandmother is lending him 600 dollars every month till he gets a job. The youngest son works part time and is in high school. I got him his job and all he does is blow his money on junk he buys on the internet instead of helping me and his mother. He is also a filthy slob, who hates cleaning. When he does a few dishes at night, it takes him hours because he moves as slow as a snail. Of course I'm still expected to buy him what ever he needs be cause he is still in high school. 
My granddaughter who I adore has still been taught bad habits and has toys littered throughout the entire house.
When I married my wife, i was accused by her mother of marrying her for her money.lol.
I had finally cleared my debt and my wife was currently in heavy debt when we got married. Right now we have to file bankruptcy.  So welcome to my world.
