He kept thinking about how much the rain would wash his tears and fears away. It was certainly true that the dark clouds wouldn't protect him forever.
Watery muds. Dark and gray air. Soldiers running in order across each field. Gunshots being fired from one side to another. There stood he. The same tears and the frequent fears that surrounded him. He had to go. He has to do it. But he didn't want to go. He does not want to do it.
If only the rain would give him one more. A slightest bit of kindness. One more clinse to wash away his running tears. Just a boy that he was. The rain would give him one more protection bigger than himself. But it just was assured that falling drizzles wouldn't be his graceful saviours anymore than they were. Now they were just mindless raindrops.
Now he runs with the rest of the soldiers in order across the fields. His heart racing each second a bullet flies through the air. Dark and gray clouds blinding his sight. A rifle he occupied with him. No more protection at his aid. Dark storms are the choir until he reaches his ending.
If only the rain would wash his tears and fears away as they now turn into his doubts of ever living past this. Now here the little boy as a young man awaited for by the army. Running with the soldiers in order across the fields to approach the deadly battlefield.
Each time a trigger is being pulled his heart races a second bullets are released. The dark storms let his once saviours pour into the war. They fall onto him as he falls to his knees. He stared up into the sky of rapid raindrops.
Soldiers ran passed him. His side of the war had been taking the one victory. His eyes were gazing upon his saviours. The rain was no longer washing away his tears and fears...they were washing away his blood.
His last breath was mixed with his lifetime touch. His rain washed his life away. Ahhh. Nothing was better than this one last single touch of a raindrop....
